Abundance and Creativity

I am abundant. I am in full flow. I am a HeartWriter.

I promised myself when I opened HeartWriting that I would live the ultimate slow life, filled with dreamy days and effortless prose. 

This hasn't always happened.

Sure, I have experienced pockets of spaces like this, but building a business took up more resources than I would have liked.

Still, the calling urged me on. 'This is the way,' my heart whispered to me, even when I was doubtful of my choices.

Truth is, I had to build strong foundations first before I could float into free-flow. Yes, it’s been busy, but instead of stepping back from the spotlight, I leaned in and I received even more opportunities to:

• Teach the HeartWriting® curriculum

• Collaborate with creative brands

• Conduct workshops in high schools

• Launch the Bali HeartWriting Retreat

• Accept new offers to publish my writing. 

We are stronger than we think when we are treading the right path. But we give up our dreams too easily because they often feel too hard to hone. 

Have you given up your sacred desires lately as the ultimate sacrifice?

I'm so saddened when writers give up their craft because they feel that it’s too hard, the world is against them, or they don't feel deserving of their dreams.

Chances are you do have more resources than you’re willing to admit. And your words could be the cherry-topping that the world is looking for. So why not write those words? Why not lean in to your creative side, if it means spreading more love?

Allow the sparkle of universal abundance – the energy of Lakshmi, subtly redirect you back to your true path.

Despite the wrongs and warfare in our world, universal abundance and goodness is everywhere. If you can find the abundance of dharma, kama, artha and moksha in your life, then why waste it? Why not use it to build a better world?

• Dharma (purposeful duty)

• Kama (desire, pleasure)

• Artha (purposeful wealth)

• Moksha (liberation – from the life cycle)
